Ghumasha’s journey into weightlifting and powerlifting began in 2022, when she joined Kuwait’s national weightlifting team. Within her first season, she represented Kuwait at the Arab Championship, winning a bronze medal in her category a milestone achievement for someone so new to the sport.
Although she proved her strength in Olympic lifts like snatch and clean & jerk, Ghumasha soon discovered her true passion powerlifting. In her own words, “Powerlifting is about performance, art, and breaking records. It’s my true game.”

Despite her intense training schedule, Ghumasha remains grounded, often crediting her coach Dr. Fahad for his guidance and dedication. “The training is challenging, intense, and intelligent,” she says, “but with the right mindset and support, you can achieve anything.”
